The Newsletter | Edition 104
Progress Report is dedicated to providing inspiration for action. In our Off-White Papers, we provide practical guidance on how to respond to our rapidly-changing world. This newsletter explores those topics in real-time, with information and action steps on how to make progress now.

IN TODAY'S NEWSLETTER...MOMENTS OF PAUSE.
In December 2022, we ended the year with excitement, whimsy, and joy: with the launch of the first-of-its-kind Progress Report newspaper. This year, it’s different. Unimaginably different. This year, we’re signing off after a profound loss. As many of you may know by now, our Founder & CEO Alain Sylvain has passed away.

Alain was an unparalleled visionary. He was an entrepreneur and natural leader that intentionally defied expectations and preconceptions. He was unbending in his convictions and unafraid of calling out the world of business to do better. Leaders listened and welcomed his provocations.

In the wake of Alain’s passing we’ve stepped away for a bit—to grieve, to rest, to recover. Fighting for progress has a different gravity at times like this, but we also know that Alain would have wanted Progress Report (and all that we do to leverage the might of corporations for the greater good) to continue.

And that’s exactly what our team will do.

ONE THING YOU CAN DO RIGHT NOW

It wouldn't feel like Progress Report if we didn't end with "One Thing You Can Do Right Now." The holidays and the end of year are a time of pause. A time to reflect, repair, and recover. To be close to the ones you love. To find gratitude for whatever bounty you have. And to share generously with those who have less than you do.

In the new year, we’ll return to biweekly newsletters. But for now, a pause. A moment to embrace all of the emotions and opportunities that this time of year brings. We hope you're able to find the time and space to do the same.

With love,
SYLVAIN
